Interest in Azerbaijan grows into love for Azerbaijan

The Baku International Multiculturalism Centre (BIMC) began to teach the subject “Azerbaijani Multiculturalism” in the spring semester of the 2014-15 academic year in seven universities – Sofia University St Kliment Ohridski, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in Georgia, the Ural Federal University named after Russia’s first president Boris Yeltsin in the Russian Federation, the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences, Charles University in the Czech Republic, Sapienza University of Rome in Italy and the Belarusian State University. Teaching of the subject began at the same time in several Azerbaijani universities. As a component of the BIMC’s successful project “Teaching the Subject ‘Azerbaijani Multiculturalism’ in Domestic and Foreign Universities”, or to be more exact, as a continuation of it, an international summer school “Multiculturalism as a Lifesyle in Azerbaijan: Learn, Explore, Share” was held from 21 July to 1 August in a picturesque part of our country, Nabran, for students from foreign and Azerbaijani universities.
